The annual Naicatchewenin committee and volunteers hosted their annual Bass/Walleye tournament September 13/14 and the weekend proved to be another great tournament. Everything from the anglers, organizers and volunteers made for a top notch tournament. Also the great weather conditions were in everyone’s favour, especially the anglers.

The top#1 team, pocketing $5,000.00 was Jordan Stus and Vince Godbout #2 Bill Godin and Larry Foss, #3 Ryan and Joleigh McDowall, # 4 Leroy Wilson and Michael Graham, and #5 Paul Visser and John Desauniers.

Congratulations to all that participated, and the organizers. I’m sure 2025 will see another top notch tournament.

Also making the weekend great at the fishing tournament was the fundraiser that took place with all monies going to the family of Glenn Smith. The penny table and collection jar collected $4,835.55. Thanks to all that donated.
