The Catholic Women’s League at St. Patrick’s Church in Emo installed and dedicated a new stained glass window there back on Jan. 3.
The inscription reads, “Dedicated to St. Patrick’s Women’s League on its 50th Anniversary (1954-2004). Our Lady of Good Counsel, pray for us.”
The artwork was done by Brigitte Schulski and the stained glass by Emily Hyatt.
In other news, the C.W.L. will be celebrating its 50th anniversary on Saturday, Feb. 14 (Valentine’s Day), beginning with a mass at 5 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Church.
A catered roast beef supper and short program will follow in the church hall.
