So proud

Dear editor,
Congratulations to the Fort Frances Choraliers and the Borderland Community Orchestra for an amazing Christmas performance this past weekend.
There were so many moments of absolute harmony between the choir and orchestra.
Working with Katherine Williams and the members of the orchestra was a new and challenging experience for us, at times. We each practised independently and then came together only three times before our actual performances began.
By our last performance at the Townshend Theatre on Sunday night, we had reached our peak.
As a member of the choir this year, I could feel the thrill of actually being a singer in the midst of all the beautiful voices. It truly was a wonderful experience to actually stand with all the people who bring so much pleasure to others with their incredible voices.
I am so proud of each and every singer—you truly make my Christmas and enrich my life with your friendship.
To Katherine and the orchestra, thank you for allowing us to be part of your performances. We enjoyed working with you.
Most importantly, thank you to the audiences at each venue. Without your support, we would have no reason to sing!
I would like to thank each and every one of the musicians, both in the choir and orchestra, for giving of their time to make the season truly a blessed one!
