The historic bandshell in Smokey Bear Park, International Falls, was destroyed by a fire which broke out on April 8. The bandshell has been a beloved icon since the 1940s, hosting music concerts, festivals and performances. The fire is currently under investigation by authorities. According to CBS, the flame took crews five hours to extinguish.
