Stop child porn

Dear sir:
The convicted murderer of Holly Jones in Toronto admitted that he committed this gruesome crime because he had been viewing child pornography on the internet.
Holly did not know her murderer. She was simply a child waiting to cross the street.
Canada’s Internet Service Providers (ISPs) refuse to follow the British lead and screen out these sites from their service. The British Telecom had set up the framework to make this easy for other providers around the world to implement.
Why, then, do our ISPs not follow suit? They cite freedom of expression.
These images are not art, they are crimes—crimes against children that could be a relative of yours. Innocent children die every day while these images are created.
As a community, I feel it is up to us to pressure the ISPs to screen out child porn. Please, if you use the Internet, e-mail your ISP and demand that they follow the British and screen out child porn.
If there is no market for child porn, then we are one step closer to stopping it!
