A silver star

Cassandra Star was recently awarded with a Silver Play Button from YouTube, for surpassing 100,000 subscribers to the channel “Cassandra and Callaghan”, which she shares with her sister Callaghan. The channel surged in popularity after a release of the viral hit, An Easter Hallelujah, released two years ago, which has 9.4 million views, and has been shared around the globe. Cassandra also posted daily storytimes through the pandemic, in which she would read a children’s book, using props, costumes and fun settings. The channel features a variety of performances by both sisters, including festival performaces, duets and collaborations. Cassandra continues to perform regularly – she has been invited to sing the national anthem for the American Hockey League game in Toronto March 24 for a Toronto vs. Montreal match-up.
