Bearskin adds midday flights

After seeing the number of daily reduced in May, Bearskin Airlines is reintroducing midday service between Thunder Bay and Fort Frances.
Effective Sept. 15, new weekday flights will depart Thunder Bay and 11;20 a.m. and Fort Frances at 1:35 p.m.—complimenting current service that departs Thunder Bay at 6:30 p.m. and Fort Frances at 8;10 a.m. local time.
Weekend service is also available.
All flights offer connection to Air Canada’s Toronto jet service as well as Bearskin Airlines flights to Sault Ste. Marie, Sudbury, Timmins, North Bay and Ottawa.
Service at the Fort Frances Airport was reduced from two flights each weekday to a single flight in mid-May as a result of weak demand.
It is expected that the increase in business travel associated with the change in seasons will warrant the additional flight.
Round-trip fares are currently being offered as low as $99, and one-way fares start at just $118.
