The Lakers lost a close one after a big comeback in the third period at Ice For Kids Arena in their Family Day afternoon game. A pair of second period shorthanded goals were too much to overcome, even with a five goal third period. Brady Krentz scored a pair including one late in the third to pull them back within a point but an empty netter would ice the game. The Lakers outshot the Wisconsin Lumberjacks 43-30 but goalie William Forrester made some great saves.
