There will be a Senior’s Coffee Gathering February 13 from 1-3 p.m. at the Devlin Hall. All seniors are welcome. The pancake breakfast that was planned for February 10 has been postponed due to hall renovations. This event will definitely take place but at a later date.

The committee is hoping we can host the coffee gatherings every second Tuesday (even with the renovations taking place) as they seem to be thoroughly enjoyed by all attending.
Over 60 people attended the coffee gathering on January 31. The numbers of those attending is increasing at each gathering, which is great to see. The committee is busy looking into different events, speakers etc. that will be welcomed and enjoyed by seniors attending. I’ve been fortunate to have Dennis Smith agree to come and do a magic show at one of our gatherings.

Robin’s 2 cents
For over 20 years a wife had been complaining about her husband not putting the cap back on the tooth paste. Their last anniversary, he decided to change this bad habit and make his wife happy.
For a week, he was diligent and always capped the toothpaste.
He was expecting his wife to thank him, but she never did. Finally one night she turned and looked at him and said: “Why have you stopped brushing your teeth?”
