The Ice Box of the Nation Open Bonspiel ran at the Curl Fort Frances Community Centre from Jan. 12-14, hosted by the International Falls Curling Club. The event saw 32 teams from across the area in both the US and Canada come to curl. Rumor has it the prime rib supper on Saturday night in International Falls was also fantastic. According to the curling club the results were as follows:
A Event – Team Derek Jackson > runner up Team Clifford
B Event – Team James Kroeker (Dryden) > runner up Team Herr
C Event – Team Raymond Roy > runner up Team Mayer
D Event – Team Charlotte Bazylewski > runner Team H Beaudry
