Fan appreciation night at the Memorial Sports Centre was a hit, with many fans turning out to get autographs from the Lakers after the game and some fans even taking home special prizes. Some fans had their eyes on a few specific players while others ran through the whole lineup. Fans even had the opportunity to take photos with their favourite Lakers. Everyone went home especially happy with the Lakers pulling out a win in the dying seconds of the game for a 3-2 final over the Kenora Islanders.
