Crime Stoppers expanding to Koochiching County

After lengthy consultations, Northwestern Ontario Crime Stoppers, Inc. has announced International Falls and Koochiching County, Mn. are joining in partnership with its program.
This partnership will see civilian committee members, media sources, and city, county, state, and federal law enforcement agencies from the International Falls and Koochiching County area joining the Fort Frances committee of Northwestern Ontario Crime Stoppers.
This new partnership and expanded committee will function jointly in fundraising and other related initiatives pertaining to Crime Stoppers on both sides of the border as a charitable, non-profit entity in both countries.
A ceremony to officially open this new partnership in the investigation of crime is slated for Friday, Sept. 10 in International Falls, with the actual operation of the newly-expanded Crime Stoppers program commencing at 12:01 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 11.
This partnership and its launch is dedicated to the memory of the victims, families, and survivors of the attack on the World Trade Center in New York City.
Crime Stoppers of Northwestern Ontario and northern Minnesota look forward to the official opening and launch of their new partnership and expanded program.
