So many to thank

Dear editor:
Penny, you’re a great pace bunny. The first step in any adventure is the first one.
Emily, Elizabeth, Saragh, and Zack—you kids are awesome to get up that early and run such a distance, keep it up! Joy, Sarah, and Dave—you made the first 10 km just fly by.
Kim, what can I say. Just thinking about what you did inspired me during the tough times later on. Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t do anything.
Vince, Lincoln, and Gaydonna—thanks for the big lift coming into Emo. Dan, thanks for getting me over the big hill.
Chris, Marty, Krista, and Lorne–thanks for being there and not letting me quit. That Fort Frances sign did a number on me, but you guys got me going again.
Teresa, you had enough enthusiasm for everyone—being so upbeat helped me keep going. Deane kept the water bottles coming, but I won’t tell you my secret formula.
Larry, what, no speeding tickets?
Sandy, thanks for being there all the way. And thank you ambulance attendants for being there when the cramps got bad.
To everyone who met me along the way, or beeped your horn when passing, and those who made pledges to a really great cause, thank you, thank you, thank you.
Signed,
Bill Michl
