FFPC rebate on the way

The board of directors of the Fort Frances Power Corp. are pleased to announce its standard supply service customers will receive an electric power rebate for benefits realized in 2004 under the historical power agreement.
The rebate will be calculated at the rate of .62 cents per kilowatt hour (plus GST) based on the kilowatt hours consumed by all standard supply service customers (residential and commercial) between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2004.
The rebate will be applied to all standard supply service customers’ accounts this month, and will appear as a credit on their next electric power bill.
In addition, the FFPC board of directors is pleased to announced the month power agreement credit rate will be increased to 1.50 cents per kilowatt hour from the current rate of 1.23 cents per kilowatt hour for its standard supply service customers.
It is important to note that Fort Frances customers enrolled with electricity retailers are not eligible to receive the power agreement credit and rebate.
The board of directors of the FFPC will continue its efforts to provide the lowest possible electric power rates for customers in the Town of Fort Frances.
