Dear sir:
I realize I don’t fit into the “letters to the editor” rules, but I still need to respond to Mr. Lowe’s letter of Feb. 23.
I would urge Mr. Lowe to continue reading Genesis 19: 1-38 (the entire chapter). This is the story of Lot, the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, turning Lot’s wife into a pillar of salt, and his two daughters having sex with Lot after they plied him with drink (each daughter subsequently became pregnant and gave birth to sons named Moab and Benammi, respectively).
What say you now, Mr. Lowe? Perhaps you should write again to Mr. Boshcoff and plead with him to support equal rights for my gay brothers and sisters!
