Draws set for men’s bonspiel

Raymond Roy will be looking to defend his title at the annual Fort Frances men’s bonspiel, which gets underway tomorrow at 5 p.m. with 32 rinks taking part.

The semi-finals in the ‘A,’ ‘B,’ and ‘C’ events are slated Sunday at 11:45 a.m., followed by the three finals at 2 p.m.
Spectators are welcome.
In other curling news, the Fort Frances Curling Club is looking for more teams to register for the fifth-annual “Curl for Cancer” fundraiser bonspiel, which is slated for Saturday, March 12.
The entry fee is $20 per player (which includes a ticket to the fish fry that night), with proceeds going towards the Canadian Cancer Society.
