Muskies open against Eagles tonight

The Muskie boys’ hockey team will be in Dryden tonight to open their best-of-three NorWOSSA final against the Eagles.
Game 2 is slated here Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Ice for Kids Arena, with Game 3, if necessary, back in Dryden on Tuesday night.
The winner advances to the all-Ontarios slated March 23-26 in Windsor.
The Muskies, who finished second during the regular season, easily handled the third-place Kenora Broncos in the semi-finals, sweeping the best-of-three series with wins of 4-1 and 5-2.
The first-place Eagles, meanwhile, eliminated the fourth-place Red Lake Rams by scores of 9-0 and 5-1.
The Muskies and Eagles last met late in the regular season, with the black-and-gold skating away with a 4-4 tie and 5-4 win.
The black-and-gold wound up with a 2-3-1 record during the regular season against Dryden, scoring 14 goals over that span while giving up 18.
