The Muskies will play an exhibition game tonight against the Hopper’s Bruins men’s hockey team at the Ice for Kids Arena.
Game time is slated for 6:45 p.m.
The Muskies have only tonight’s game and two more practices before they pack their bags for Windsor and the all-Ontario championship.
They will leave Sunday night and travel straight-through to the southernmost city in Canada, with their first game scheduled for Wednesday morning (March 30).
The Muskies are ranked 17th in the ‘AAA’/‘AAAA’ division, with their first game coming against eighth-ranked St. Thomas More (Hamilton).
Their next game will take place Thursday morning (March 31) against Chatham Kent, who are ranked 16th, and then they will face the top-seeded St. Mary (Pickering) that night.
Their last game of the round-robin will be held Friday morning (April 1) against the ninth-ranked Orangeville Bears, with the quarter-finals to go later that day.
Last year, the Muskies finished 1-2-1 at the all-Ontarios in London, which was not good enough to qualify for the quarter-finals.
The lone team they faced last year, which they will face again this year, is the Orangeville Bears, whom they tied 3-3 in 2004.
