Super 8 manager named to board

Wanda Barker was recently appointed as the Canadian representative to the Super 8 chain’s manager advisory board.
The motel chain’s manager advisory board is composed of 10 Super 8 motel general managers—one representative from Canada and nine from the United States.
The managers meet twice a year to share best practices and discuss company and industry-related issues.
The Super 8 chain’s management team selects managers for their management savvy and operational excellence.
“I’m honoured to be a part of the Super 8 chain’s manager advisory board,” said Barker.
“I look forward to participating in activities that will help the chain, and eventually, guests,” she added.
The position is for a three-year term.
