John Harrison, general manager at the local Abitibi-Consolidated pulp and paper mill, will be the guest speaker at Fort Frances Chamber of Commerce monthly luncheon tomorrow.
Abitibi-Consolidated is the largest employer in Rainy River District and Harrison is expected to provide an update on mill operations, the pulp and paper industry, and current forestry issues.
The luncheon will start at 11:45 a.m. at the Rainy Lake Hotel.
There is no charge to attend this meeting. Registrants can order from the menu and pay on their own.
