Bearskin Airlines announced yesterday it will offer enhanced flight schedules to Winnipeg starting May 1.
The spring schedule will increase service to two return flights each business day from Fort Frances to Winnipeg.
A midday flight departing at 11:10 a.m. and arriving in Winnipeg at 12:25 p.m. will offer excellent connections with WestJet and Air Canada to Calgary, Vancouver, and other western cities, said Nancy Salmijarvi, area manager for Bearskin Airlines in Winnipeg.
“We recognize the value of time, and feel this enhanced schedule will allow our customers the flexibility and convenience of more connecting flights to Western Canada as well as business travel to Winnipeg,” she added.
Bearskin Airlines offers more than 100 scheduled flights to 15 destinations each business day.
Scheduled service extends from Winnipeg in the west and east to Ottawa.
The company maintains major bases of operations in Thunder Bay and Sioux Lookout.
