Muskies go winless at OFSAA

The Muskie boys’ soccer team ended the all-Ontario championship on a positive note today but failed to qualify for the quarter-finals.
The black-and-gold closed out round-robin play in Pool ‘B’ with a 2-2 draw against the Bayridge Blazers of Kingston.
Kevin Plett and Tyson Quibell had given the Muskies a 2-0 lead but the Blazers beat reserve goalie Jordan York twice in the final 10 minutes to salvage the tie.
The Muskies—seeded second—had begun the day with a heart-breaking 1-0 loss to the Wellington Heights Wolverines of Mount Forest.
Fort High finished the tournament with an 0-3-1 record after opening with a pair of losses yesterday by scores of 2-0 and 1-0.
The quarter-finals go tonight, with the semi-finals and final slated for tomorrow.
