Annual ‘Daffodil Day’ coming up next Friday

Once again, local Beta Sigma Phi sorority members will be assisting the Canadian Cancer Society in the fight against cancer by selling beautiful yellow daffodil blooms during “Daffodil Day” next Friday (March 31).
If you haven’t already pre-ordered your daffodils, the cost is $6 per bunch and they will be available at various businesses around town next Friday.
What started as a small project of selling 350 bunches in Fort Frances has now grown to a huge event where 1,500 are sold on “Daffodil Day.”
In Ontario alone, five million daffodils are sold each year by the Canadian Cancer Society and its organizations that promote “Daffodil Day.”
Over the past five years, more than $35,000 has been raised and contributed to the local Canadian Cancer Society.
Please do your part and buy daffodils from a Beta Sigma Phi sorority member next Friday and brighten up someone’s day.
