It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Ruth Alexa, 67, of Kingsford Twp. peacefully on Sunday, April 17, 2022, at the La Verendrye Hospital.
Ruth was born on July 18, 1954, to parents Lillian and Nicholas Ogier.
Ruth worked at various jobs over the years but she most enjoyed her time working at Rainycrest in the kitchen and helping seniors. She liked to garden and go out with Doug bird hunting and travelling in the fall. Her grandchildren meant the world to her.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Doug Cann; her children Jason (Beatrice), Justin, Ryan (Cara), Crystal (Ty); her grandchildren Jace, Alex, Arianna, Sierra and Tanisha.
Ruth is also survived by her siblings Ron (Sandy), Harold, Allan, Joan, Joyce, infant brother Nicolas; mother-in-law Betty Cann; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ruth was predeceased by her parents Lillian and Nicholas; her siblings Gary, Phyllis, Patsy, Dulcie, Yvonne; and father-in-law Allan Cann.
As per Ruth’s wishes no funeral service will take place.
