SPRING FEVER DAYS THIS WEEKEND!

The annual Spring Fever Days takes place in Emo this weekend (April 22 and 23). There will be a hub of activities and great sales on many items with all merchants from all businesses. 
One traditional event is the Emo Legion hosting its Crafts Galore, this takes place Friday (April 22) from 9:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. A large  variety of items will be for sale. Also a soup and sandwich lunch will be available to purchase at the Legion. 
Beer and Burger also takes place at the Legion on April 22. 
Come out to Spring Fever Days - you're guaranteed to have a good day and meet up with folks you haven’t seen in a long time. Maybe even before Covid!  
A belated happy 50th anniversary to Alf and Barb Redford. They celebrated their special day April 14. Your community of family and friends wish you many more happy years of marriage.  
Congratulations to Luke and Marissa and sister Paisley on the birth of their son Lane Thomas John. Lane was born April 8. Happy grandparents are Allan Kinnear, Tammy Carlson McNally and Betty and Gary Esselink.
Starting Monday April 18 there will be an online fundraising auction of donated items for the Emo Public Library Facebook page. Be sure to check this out and sponsor our local library.
A reminder that the Emo Walleye Tournament takes place May 26, 27 and 28. The entry fee this year is $500. New committee members and volunteers are needed to help this event be the success as it has always been. Call Colleen at 276-4128 for more information. 
Any students interested in gaining volunteer hours (as the requirement to graduate) can do so by working at The Thrift Store in Emo this summer.
