MORLEY ROBERT GAGE

We are saddened to announce the sudden passing of Morley Robert Gage, age 63, of Atikokan, Ontario on February 21, 2021.

Morley was married to his soulmate Donna Kroocmo, and leaves behind to grieve the great loss three stepdaughters; Tanya Kroocmo (Ivan) and grandchildren Summer and Caiden Lauzier, Serena Martin (Christopher) and grandchildren Calla and Iris Martin, Kristen Kroocmo (Jamie) and grandchildren Amara and Elea Wreggitt. He also leaves behind his biological children Tylor and Nicole Gage of Fort Frances, Bobby (Dawn) and grandchildren Peyton and Riley, Justin Labelle, and Chris Labelle. Morley also leaves his brother Jim Gage of Thunder Bay.

He will also be missed by numerous good friends and acquaintances including his life-long best friend Charles Thomas and his roommate Brad Beninger. The condolences have been overwhelming and show how much he was adored. He was a loyal man, true to himself in every way, with a very quick wit and loved to make people laugh. It was a gift. Hard working since his youth, he was a heavy equipment operator who took great pride in his ability and enjoyed working.

Morley has been cremated in Thunder Bay where his remains will be cherished by his wife until they meet again in heaven.

The angels have called you home,

Where forever you will be,

The world has lost a great man,

But you’re now joking and carefree.

You have left an unfillable void

In the hearts of those that cared

I wish that God could’ve waited

And let your life be spared.

Your time was up on this earth,

But no more struggles or fears.

I do have a sneaking suspicion

That the angels are plugging their ears.

In respect of Morley’s wishes, no funeral arrangements will be made. Please have a laugh in memory of him as that’s what he would’ve wanted.
