Residents of the Emo Health Centre are enjoying their new adjustable tables and wipeable chairs in the dining room. These were purchased as part of a $25,500 pledge made by the Emo and District Hospital Auxiliary last spring. New blinds for the patio doors in the cafeteria, a large armchair for the sunroom, and over-bed tables are yet to arrive. The Auxiliary serves meals in the hospital cafeteria five days a week and is open to the public from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The coffee is always on and doors are open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Auxiliary has operated the hospital cafeteria for 33 years with member volunteer help. The Auxiliary wishes to thank wholeheartedly the ongoing generous donations and in memoriam designated to the Emo Auxiliary that make these items possible. – Submitted photos
