There has been a noticeable increase in members of the public leaving messages on the answering machine at detachments that would be better addressed if the PCC had been called. The detachment phone number is intended for matters such as questions about criminal record checks and making appointments to attend the detachment for administrative purposes.
The OPP has online reporting on their website at www.opp.ca. An online report can be filed for the following calls for service: Lost/missing property; Stolen license plates or validation stickers; Theft from a vehicle; Mischief to a vehicle; Mischief (damage to property other than a vehicle, including graffiti); Theft and Driving Complaints
