Gordon McTaggart passed away peacefully at Rainycrest Long Term Care Home on April 27, 2020, aged 95.
Gordon was a lifelong resident of Fort Frances and enjoyed contributing to the community. Those who knew him in his prime would not be surprised at how bravely he battled the cumulative effects of dementia or how graciously he carried himself in defeat.
Predeceased by his wife, Marjorie, in May 2017, Gordon lives on in the loving memories of his daughters Jo-Anne, Nancy, Midge, Kathi and his son Allan and their families. He is also remembered by his brothers Jack and Ross. He was predeceased by his brother Hugh.
A celebration of Gordon’s life will be planned when the whole family is able to gather.
Charitable donations in Gordon’s memory’s are warmly welcomed. The family suggest the Auxiliary at LaVerendrye Hospital or Rainycrest which he actively supported when he was able.
