The family of Darlene Annette Morrison is heartbroken to announce her passing on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2020 at the LaVerendrye General Hospital in Fort Frances, Ont.
She was born on July 4, 1964 in Fort Frances to Albert and June Morrison.
Darlene leaves behind her children Daniel Kyle Morrison, Tami Rae Morrison, Kristen Ashley Boshey and Shyla Renee Big George (Dennis “Meatpie” Morrison); grandchildren Peyton Ryan Derek Morrison, Rylan Kyle Morrison, Talia Lynn Morrison, Phillyann Morriseau, Amelia Rose Kelly, Damion Kyle Morrison, Kayleigh Jennette Walton, Tianna Lynne Walton, Taneecha Joan Morrison, Abagail Irene Gosselin and Annabelle Ray Gosselin; siblings Dennis Morrison Sr. (Roseanne), Jeffrey Morrison (Crystal), Roger Morrison (Crystal), Dave Morrison, Kim Morrison, Sharon Morrison, and Joy Morrison (David Dennis) as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins too numerous to mention.
She was predeceased by her parents Albert Sr. and June; siblings Albert and Shannon.
A wake will be held on Thursday, Feb. 27, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. followed by a traditional funeral ceremony on Friday, Feb. 28, 2020 at the home of Roger Morrison in Lac La Croix First Nation.
The pallbearers will be the family and friends of Darlene.
