Sharon Alexandra Yurkiw passed away peacefully on Sept. 13, 2017, after a courageous battle with cancer, at La Verendrye General Hospital in Fort Frances, Ont..
She was born on Aug. 1, 1950 in Rosevalley, Sask. to Pearl and Maurice Yurkiw.
Sharon was an avid reader, and loved crosswords and doing puzzles.
Sharon is survived by her brother, Brian (Linda) Yurkiw and their children, Jeff and Brad; and sister, Barbara (David) Moon and their son, Joshua.
She was predeceased by her father, Maurice, and mother, Pearl.
Sharon will be laid to rest in Winnipeg, Man. beside her parents.
