Leo Bremault, 84, of Rainy River, Ontario passed away peacefully at his home Aug. 1, 2017.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Council in Rainy River, Ont.
Burial followed at the Catholic cemetery in Pinewood, Ont.
Leo was born Nov. 2, 1932 in Fort Frances, Ont. to Alexandre and Louise Bremault. They lived in Lebret, Sask. for a short period of time before moving to Pinewood where he attended school and worked on the farm.
In his younger years, he also worked in the timber industry.
He married Alice Beaudry on Sept. 2, 1961 and moved to Rainy River, Ont. where he started work as a lineman, autobody repairman and mechanic until he retired.
Leo and his family enjoyed camping all over Canada and the United States.
Leo is survived by his wife, Alice; sons, Andre Bremault and Joe Bremault (Holly); three grandchildren, Melissa Zebrasky, (Marcel), Brandon Bremault (Lanelle Lindstrom), and Jordan Bremault; and two great-granddaughters, Zoey and Alexandria Zebrasky.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Alexandre and Louise; his siblings, Denis, Donat, Lucien, Andre and Georgette.
