It is with great shock and sadness to announce the unexpected loss of our beloved Sheldon Ronald Ross Tuesday on Thursday, June 8, 2017.
Sheldon was born on July 7, 1984 in Kenora, Ont. to Ross Tuesday and Vivian Mandamin. He was the eldest of his seven siblings.
He grew up in Big Grassy with his grandparents, Gary and Stella Tuesday. He loved his children, his whole family, as well as golfing, fishing, hunting, and casino, and was very artistic.
He is such a great loss to everyone who knew him. Everyone he cared for and loved for during his time with us.
His sense of humour will be missed and his way with words.
Sheldon is survived by his mother, Vivian Mandamin; father, Ross Tuesday; children, Sheldon Tuesday Jr. and Deonna Mainville; sisters, Gloria Tuesday and Angela Tuesday; brother, Pierre Tuesday; paternal grandparents, Gary and Stella Tuesday; brother, Dakota Wynn; sisters, Robin Tuesday, Roslyn Tuesday, and Harlyn Tuesday; and numerous uncles, aunties, nephews, and nieces.
He was predeceased by his brother, Randy Mandamin; son, Hayden Tuesday; grandmother, Ella-Dawn Green; grandfather, Albert Mandamin; uncle, Ronald James Tuesday; great-grandparents, Ed and Marie Kirkrude; and great-grandparents, Pierre Tuesday and Hannah Comegan.
A traditional wake was held on Sunday, June 11, 2017, followed by traditional funeral service on Monday, June 12, 2017 at the Big Grassy Hall, officiated by Gilbert Smith.
Interment took place in the Big Grassy First Nation Cemetery.
The pallbearers were Clifton Tuesday, Ryan Big George, Kari Comegan, Jason Skerget, Danny Wapioke, and Clifford Tuesday.
The honourary pallbearers are all his friends and relatives.
