Kelvin Jourdain, 61, of Couchiching First Nation, passed away Monday, March 20, 2017 at his home.
Kelvin was born Feb. 24, 1956 in Fort Frances, Ont. to Moses and Regina Jourdain.
He lived in Couchiching First Nation all his life. He worked for various businesses in the area but mostly enjoyed being outdoors.
He leaves behind his son, Derek Turcotte (Barb Wilson); granddaughter, Jade; siblings, Everette Jourdain (Wendy), Louis Jourdain, Melvin Jourdain, Victoria Topp, Wilma Wilson, and Evelyn Adams; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Kelvin was predeceased by his parents, Moses and Regina; daughter, Krista Turcotte; brothers, William, Dwayne and Douglas Jourdain; and sisters, Gladys Jourdain and Marlene Yerxa.
A celebration of life for Kelvn was held Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the Couchiching First Nation multi-use facility.
Cremation has taken place and a family interment will be held at a later date.
