It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dear sister, Susy, 53, of Pinewood, Ont., on Saturday, Dec. 24, 2016 at the Rainy River Health Centre in Rainy River, Ont.
Susy was born on Sept. 2, 1963 in Emo, Ont. to Antoine (Tony) and Rose Gouliquer. She was raised in Pinewood and attended Rainy River High School.
Anyone who knew Susy knows she most certainly was the #1 Habs fan and never missed a game that her “boys” played. She also loved watching curling and spending time with her great- and great-great nephews and nieces.
Susy loved visiting with her family, friends, and neighbours. She was a bold, witty, and strong woman with a heart of gold.
She will be greatly missed by her siblings, Albert (Faye), Lorraine (Cliff), Joanne (Tom), and Anita (Roger); brother-in-law, Brian Sullivan; special family friend, Sophie Fogg; and nieces and nephews, Cheryl (Matty), Trevor, Adele (Kevin), Marc (Krista), and Yogi (Amanda).
She also will be missed as a great- and great-great auntie who forever enjoyed the company of all the kids, Jenn (Bruce), Ally, Andrew, Aaron, Olivia, Amelia, Ashton, Kyra, Devin, Braden, Jordy and Jace; as well as numerous aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends.
Susy left this earthly world to join her parents, Tony and Rose; sister, Lucille; and brother, Marcel, who earned their angel wings before her.

A funeral mass took place Monday, Jan. 2, 2017 at 11 a.m., with Fr. Allan Lapay officiating.
Interment will take place in Our Lady of the Way Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
