ETHEL A. RAPER

Ethel A. Raper, of Brechin, Ont., passed away Wednesday Jan. 6, 2016 at the age of 76 at the Lakeview Manor in Beaverton, Ont.
She was the beloved wife of Howard Raper; loving mother of Heather Shier, Edward Raper, Stanley Raper, Betty Lapierre, Barbara Raper, and Cynthia Bartlett; and loved by 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was the dear sister of Winnifred Rousseau, Irene Huntley, and Viola Plumridge; and also will be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Ethel was predeceased by her brothers, William Izzard and Frank Izzard.
Cremation has taken place.
A memorial gathering to celebrate Ethel’s life will be held Sunday, Jan. 31, 2106 from 2-5 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #488 (Brechin/Mara).
If desired, in memoriam donations made to the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #488 (Brechin/Mara) would be appreciated by the family.
