Robert Allan Olson passed away peacefully, with his family at his side, on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015 at the Marjorie Willoughby Snowden Hospice in Kamloops, B.C.
Bob is loved and will be dearly missed by his wife, Helen; children, Keith (Cathy) Olson and Krista (Sean) Pitts; and grandchildren, Andrew, Kyle, and Blair, and Sam and Ben.
He also will be mourned by his sisters, Christina Halverson and Jean Kerber; four nieces and eight nephews; many cousins, great-nieces, and great-nephews; as well as many friends both near and far.
Bob was born Feb. 15, 1941 in Rainy River, Ont. to Olof (Einar) and Ethel Olson.
After Olof’s death, Ethel married Harry Daley, who became his beloved step-father.
Bob married Helen (nee Gallan) in 1967 in Fort Frances, Ont. and they were happily married for 48 years.
