It is with heavy hearts and sadness that we announce the passing of Grace Sutherland, in her 94th year, on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 in Ottawa, Ont.
She was the loving wife of 60 years to John; mother of Neila, Heather (Bruce), and Tara (Annette); grandmother of Matthew (Alicia) and Nicholas (Amanda); and great-grandmother of Colson, Marissa, and Connor.
Grace was predeceased by her parents, Olive and Clayton Procter; and brother, Grant.
Grace was an active member of Beta Sigma Phi for 68 years. She also was a long-time volunteer of the Canadian Red Cross after working for many years with Sears Canada.
Grace also was fond of watching sporting events.
Funeral services were held Monday, May 4, 2015 at 10 a.m. in the Chapel at Pinecrest Cemetery (2500 Baseline Rd.), followed by an entombment and refreshments.
