Bill Cullen, of Kamloops, B.C., passed away Monday, June 8, 2015 at age 76.
He is survived by his loving and supportive wife, Gerry; children, Sherri (Ray) Weremczuk and Tamara (Mark) Davies; and granddaughter, Seren Davies.
He also is survived by his siblings, Betty (Larry), Norman (Linda), and Allan (Joan); and many well-loved cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends across the country.
Bill was predeceased by his parents, Gordon and Cecile.
Born in Winnipeg, Man. and raised in Fisher Branch, Man., Bill was a skilled tradesman and an avid sportsman (baseball, bowling, hunting, fishing, and golf).
He moved to Kamloops with his family in 1974 and had worked with the railroad, pulp mill, and Canada Post.
Bill was an active member of the Lions Club, and enjoyed camping, travel, John Wayne movies, nature documentaries, British TV shows, sports, cards, and time with family.
He was happily married to his wife, Gerry, for 55 years.
A memorial service was held Friday, June 12, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the Kamloops Funeral Home, 285 Fortune Dr., North Kamloops.
In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations may be made to the ALS Society of B.C.
