WANDA MAE (DOKUCHIE) DUFFY

It is with broken hearts that the family of Wanda Mae Duffy announces her passing on Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2015 in Thunder Bay, Ont.
Wanda was born Jan. 18, 1958 in Fort Frances, Ont. to Joe and Dorothy Dokuchie.
She lived in Fort Frances all of her life.
Wanda became a mother at a young age and never stopped looking after those around her. She immersed herself in the lives of her children and family. She always was looking after them and supporting them in their adventures.
She was an active person who enjoyed being out with people; she enjoyed bowling, fishing, camping, and being with her friends. When she joined an organization, she gave it her all.
Serving on the bowling executive and calling Bingo numbers were just two her favourite pastimes. She also made many beautiful quilts.
Poor health robbed Wanda of her mobility the last few years, and she genuinely missed being able to work and visit with her many friends and colleagues.
She will be greatly missed by her husband, Terry; children, Roger (Megan), Brandy, Laura (Kevin), Kendra, and Brandon; grandchildren, Trinity, Keith, Sloan-Joyce, Lita Rose, Jagger, and Ivy; mother, Dorothy Dokuchie; sisters, Pam (Allan) McTaggart and Shelia Dokuchie; brother, Joe Dokuchie; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Wanda was predeceased by her father, Joe, and in-laws, Cecil and Sunny Duffy.
A memorial service was held Saturday, Jan. 24, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances, with Fr. Victor De Gagné officiating.
If friends so desire, in memoriam donations may be made to the Arthritis Society, 895 Tungsten St., Suite 5, Thunder Bay, Ont., P7B 6H2 or the Thunder Bay Regional Hospital–ICU, 980 Oliver Rd., Thunder Bay, Ont., P7B 6V4.
