MICHELLE CHRISTINE DESROSIERS

Michelle Christine Desrosiers, of Fort Frances, Ont., passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2014 at the age of 48.
Michelle, the youngest of seven, was born in April, 1966 to Augustine and Isabelle Desrosiers. She spent most of her life in Fort Frances.
She started a family of her own early on in life with Kenneth Warren, also of Fort Frances, welcoming three children into the world.
She spent the next chapter of her life helping to raise her children but separated from Kenneth by her early 30s. She then united with the love of her life, Charles Walsh, also of Fort Frances.
Michelle enjoyed spending her time outdoors, whether it be sitting by the lake or taking in the dancers at local pow-wows. In her later years, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and looked forward to introducing them to the native traditions she valued.
Michelle is survived by her partner, Charles Walsh; and children, Angela Desrosiers (Randy Martin), Caitlin Warren (Chris Dery), and Dylan Warren.
Also surviving are her sister, Marcella Desrosiers; brothers, Kenneth Desrosier, Patrick Desrosiers, Clayton Desrosiers, and Marvin Mainville; several nieces and nephews; as well as great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Monday, Dec. 29, 2014 from 6-9 p.m. at the Couchiching First Nation Multi-Use Facility.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Couchiching Multi-Use Facility, with Fr. Victor De Gagné officiating.
Interment will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Cemetery at Couchiching.
The pallbearers will be Ken Morrison, Bob Morrison, Roger Morrison, Garth Lockman, Vernon Horton, and Craig Kearny.
The honourary pallbearers will be Maxine Perreault, Donna Morrison, Donna Mainville, Susan Bruyere Koncan, Amy Lyons, and Diane Adams.
