CONSTANCE ‘CONNIE’ HAUGO

With her family by her side, Constance “Connie” Haugo passed away Friday, Oct. 31, 2014 at La Verendrye General Hospital in Fort Frances, Ont.
Connie was born June 8, 1925 in Fort Frances to the late George and Johanna Ross.
She attended school in Fort Frances and later attended business college in Winnipeg, Man.
She had worked for an insurance company in Winnipeg, then returned home to work at her father’s store, the G.H. Ross Company. Later, she worked at Dorothy’s and the Rainy River District School Board.
Connie leaves behind her children, JoAnne, Janice, and Ted. She also is survived by her son-in-law, Larry Kivimaki; grandchildren, Chris Kivimaki (Sarah), Jennifer Kivimaki (Jordan), and Clay and Thomas Haugo; and great-grandchildren, Scott and Anne Marie, Jorja, and Marjaana.
She was predeceased by husband, Eivend, on Nov. 20, 2011; her parents, George and Johanna Ross; sister, Bernice; and brother, Kenneth.
At Connie’s request, cremation has taken place and a private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
