It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Donald (Don) Benjamin on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at the age of 66 in Cranbrook, B.C.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Julie; two sons, Kirk and Alvin (wife); daughter, Sheri; and his grandchildren, step-children, and step-grandchildren whom he adored dearly.
He also is survived by his twin brother, Dean (Olga) of Dryden, Ont.; brothers, Ralph (Edna) of Fort Frances, Ont. and Alfred (June) of Devlin, Ont.; sister, Alvina Pollard of Nanaimo, B.C.; and sisters-in-law, Margaret, Helan, and Doreen; and many nieces and nephews that he was very fond of.
Don was predeceased by his parents, Matilda and David; sister, Hazel; brothers, Marion, Mervin, and Alvin; brother-in-law, Len Anderson; and sisters-in-law, Mary and Helena.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
