WILLIAM (BILL) DUTKA

The family of the late Bill Dutka are deeply saddened to announce his passing on Monday, May 26, 2014 at the Atikokan General Hospital in Atikokan, Ont.
Bill passed away very peacefully with his loving family by his side.
Bill was born Dec. 31, 1929 in Fort Frances, Ont., where he grew up and received his education.
Bill moved to Atikokan with George Armstrong Construction in the early 1950s, and continued working for many years until he started his own construction business.
Bill was predeceased by his parents, Mary and Led Dutka; sister, Betty Main; and sister-in-law, Mary Anne Dutka.
Bill will be dearly missed by his wife, Gayle; sons, Rick and Glenn (Vicki); brother, Ed and sons, Dale (Donna) and Allan; sister-in-law, Joanne (Al Albrecht) and family, Kathy, Allyson, and Danny; sister-in-law, Betty Lou (Bob Singer) and family; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bill was a long-time member of the Atikokan Lions Club and Royal Canadian Legion, enjoying activities of both organizations.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will occur Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 1 p.m. at the Legion in Atikokan.
Interment to follow later at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
The honourary pallbearers will be Gary McKinnon, Jack Pierce, Bob Michels, Alfred Veran, Don Hill, Bob Shannon, Jr., Gary Ashbee, John Torbiak, Alex Broski, George Coulson, Ed Brigham, and John Nephin.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Atikokan General Hospital or charity of your choice.
