NADINE CAROL RICKARDS

Nadine Carol Rickards (nee Wolden) passed away Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014 at the age of 67.
Nadine was born July 25, 1946, the eldest daughter of Joyce and Ernest Wolden.
She spent most of her life in Calgary, Alta. but spent time in other places intermittently, most notably a short eight months in South Korea.
Nadine graduated as a registered nurse in 1968 from General Hospital of Port Arthur School of Nursing. She loved her work on the burn unit of the Children’s Hospital working with patients and families.
Before retiring, she moved to HealthLink, where she made many friends.
Nadine loved her family more than anything and is survived by her sons, Trevor (Tracy) and Todd (Carrie); grandchildren, Kevin (Ali), Demara, Danica, and Roman; great-grandchildren, Hayden, Ollie, and Ava; sisters, Nancy Lockman, Nyla (Bruce) Henry, and Noreen Melville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial services will be held Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 2 p.m. at McInnis & Holloway’s Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Rd. S.E. in Calgary).

In living memory of Nadine Rickards, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park.
