It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Arnold Nelson Angus, 86, on Friday, Nov. 22, 2013 in Atikokan, Ont.
Arnold was born Oct. 14, 1927 in Barwick, Ont. He moved to Atikokan in 1957, where he resided until his passing.
He worked at Steep Rock Iron Mine as an equipment operator. When the mine shut down, he drove trucks for Stan Bates Construction until he retired.
Arnold leaves to mourn his passing three sisters, Joyce Jackson (Len) of Winnipeg, Man., Rita Westover of Thunder Bay, Ont., and Lois Brusven (Gene) of Barwick, Ont.; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Leslie and Mildred Angus; brothers, John, Ellwood, and Russell Angus; and sister, Dorothy Thompson.
There will be a private family service at a later date.
