THERESA DESCHAMPS

Theresa Deschamps, of 663 First St. E., Fort Frances, Ont., passed away at her home Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012.
She was born in Penetaguishene, Ont. to the late James and Rosanna Deschamps.
Theresa moved to Fort Frances in 1936. She later moved to the United States, where she worked as a nurse for many years until her retirement in 1970.
She then returned home, where she devoted her time in caring for her parents.
Theresa was a member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church and the C.W.L., and was very active within the church all her life. She also loved gardening and was very proud of her flowers and vegetables.
Theresa was a very humble and kind person who made many friends very easy. She will be missed by her extended family, church, and all of her friends who knew her.
Theresa is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her four brothers, Alfred, James, Bernard, and Phillip Deschamps; and three sisters, Sr. James Marie (Eva) Deschamps, Hilda Ducatt, and Irene Unger.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Fort Frances. Rev. Mr. Bob Grynol will officiate with interment in Holy Cross Cemetery in Fort Frances.
The pallbearers will be Ron Deschamps, John Deschamps, Herb Snow, Jack Ducharme, Bill Michl, and Herman Rodrigues.
