MARGARET JEAN POLLARD

With her family by her side, Margaret Jean Pollard, 77, of Fort Frances, Ont., passed away Sunday, Oct. 23, 2011 at La Verendrye General Hospital in Fort Frances.
Margaret was born Feb. 14, 1934 in Virden, Man. to the late Robert and Isabella Lochrie.
In Fort Frances, Marg enjoyed a long and fulfilling employment with George Armstrong Co., working for more than 40 years. She also enjoyed playing Bingo very much.
Her greatest love, however, was certainly her children and grandchildren. Together with her husband, Murray, she raised five children.
Having her grandchildren sleep over was always a special treat. Visiting with her friends over a cup of coffee was another activity Marg liked to indulge in.
Left to cherish Marg’s memory are her sons, Trevor (Rachel) and Shawn (Wanda), and stepsons, Dennis and Michael; grandchildren, Doug, Dennis, Sarah, and Josh Wright, and Tyson, Riley, Kevin, Jaime, and Ashley Pollard; and great-granddaughter, Jayde Margaret Wright.
Marg also is survived by her brothers, Bob, Lyle, Keith, and Harold Janzen; sisters, Lil Pigden and Ruth Schwantz; brother-in-law, Bob (Alice) Pollard; sister-in-law, Shelby (Larry) Benoit; numerous nieces and nephews; and also her long-time friend, Evie O’Connell.
Marg was predeceased by her husband, Murray in 2009; son, Kevin Wright in 1993; her parents, Robert and Isabella; sister-in-law, Jeanne Pollard; niece, Rhonda Dewar; and her in-laws, Arthur and Ida Pollard.
At Marg’s request, there will be no service. A private family interment will be held at a later date.
