MARILYN ROMYN

It is with great sadness that the family of Marilyn Romyn announce her passing surrounded by her family at the Emo Health Centre on Sunday, Sept. 11, 2011.
Marilyn was born on Jan. 28, 1944 in Fort Frances, Ont, to Peter and Phyllis Bedard. She was united in marriage to Ben Romyn on July 13, 1963.
Marilyn worked for many years at the Emo Health Centre; you could not find a more dedicated employee.
Her greatest love was her home and her family. She took great pride in both. Her grandsons, all seven, were the apple of her eye, never missing an event or occasion; these will never be the same without her there in person.
She was our angel for 67 years; now she has wings.
Marilyn is survived by her husband, Ben Romyn, of Emo; son Tim (Tammy) Romyn of Devlin; and her daughter Debbie Romyn (Dale Westover) of Fort Frances; her grandchildren Tyson, Tarran, Jason and Dylan; and her great-grandchildren, Treydon and Caleb.
Marilyn is also survived by her mother, Phyllis Bedard; her sister, Linda (Fran) Brigham; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her father, Peter Bedard (2000), and her grandson, Tyler Romyn (2011).
As per Marilyn’s wishes cremation has taken place and a private family service will take place.
