ROBERTA ELLEN JEFFERY

Roberta Ellen Jeffery passed on to her eternal reward, peacefully with family by her side on Sept. 7, 2011.
She was born on May 2, 1939 to Robert and Delia Jeffery.
Roberta attended St. Mary’s School in Fort Frances. She worked at Arc Industries for many years.
She was a volunteer at Sister Kennedy Centre and loved working with many people there.
She lived at Front Street Manor where she had many friends and when she became ill she moved to Rainycrest.
Her special friends at Front Street Manor and Sister Kennedy Centre meant so much to her. She loved everyone.
Roberta is survived by her sisters, Arleen and Jack Steinke; and Esther and Donn Dodd of Sault St. Marie, Ont.; numerous nephews and nieces. Robert (Gaye) Steinke of Vail, Col.; Tammy (John) Bock of Calgary, Alta.; Jeff Steinke (Jan); Pat Steinke (Sherri) of Fort Frances; Bob (Tammy) Jeffery; Theresa (John) D’Ornellas; Rick Jeffery, Michelle Jeffery and their children; Lisa (John) Kisch; Barry (Christine) Dodd; Donna (Al) MacDonald; Shelly (Joe) Cardosa and their children.
Roberta is predeceased by her brother, Stanley, and his wife, Pat Jeffery; nephew, Daniel Jeffery; and her parents, Robert and Delia Jeffery in 1954.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, Sept. 15 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s’ Catholic Church in Fort Frances, with Fr. Francis Pudicherry officiating.
Luncheon to follow in St. Mary’s Hall.
